Intarsia is a form of Mosaics. Most all of my items are made from 3/4" pine all cut into individual pieces, carefully sanded and then stained different colors. Then they are all glued back together, most items are on a plywood back board for added strength. They are finished with 2 coats of polyurethane clearcoat for gloss and durability.
